STS4.5.2 and HTC 2.6.3 Bundle - Cannot access admin

Hello, after much fussing and trying to figure it out myself and my wife repeatedly informing me that it's time to go to bed, I finally decided to ask for help . Here is my issue, I installed Bill Kelleum's STSv4.5.2 and HTCv2.6.3 bundle contribution on a clean install of oscommerce-2.2rc1 and although I can access my storefront (index.php), when I tried to access my admin page I get:

Error 404 - Not found

Your browser can't find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in.

The interesting part is that in the address bar, I see the following:

https://www.buynintendowiiconsoleonline.com.../FILENAME_LOGIN

This comes up everytime I enter https://www.buynintendowiiconsoleonline.com/admin to get to my admin page.

Has anyone seen this before and/or can help me correct the issue?

(yes, dear.....this time I am really coming to bed...yes, I did ask for directions....thank you for your wisdom... )

Thanks

Lionel

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

Lionel, I answered this in your previous post regarding the same question....

By the way, if your shop worked before you installed STS and you did not have the above issue, then I'd say that you probably did not do a manual install of the STS & HTC bundle, which is required since you are trying to install it over osC RC1. The STS & HTC bundle was created for osC version 060817.

Jim, I do not see this as a "problem" but more of a "User Error" regarding the initial installation of osC RC1, incomplete upgrade from an earlier osC version or trying to add new RC1 components that are not compatible with earlier versions (such as some new login features to the admin section).

I guess it's a problem either way. :-

I am sorry Bill, I did not even see the reply on the other post (i guess I failed to check enable email notification) until your reply to this post. I was not aware of the fact that I needed to do a manual install of this package. I will do so and report back with what happens. I will post it in the STSv4 Forum.

Thanks

Lionel
