Americans charged Canadian tax

I have my cart set to charge GST to Canadians, with a tax zone called Canada, at 7%. However, American orders are also being charged that same tax. (I don't need PST)

I have searched through the forums but haven't found an answer to this problem.

Have I missed a step somewhere?

I'm pretty sure you need to create another tax zone for the USA and then a tax rate of 0% for that zone. Try searching for forums, there should be some posts about this already discussed.

Hi,

 

I tried this, but no luck. I have searched the forum for hours.. days even and the only other thing I haven't tried, is a suggestion to set zones as "All Zones", with some kind of "Action" button. I am using 2.2 from Oct 15th, and nowhere in the admin/taxes can I find this option.

 

Anyone? Any ideas?
