antadam Posted November 19, 2002 Posted November 19, 2002 I just installed the oscommerce...well ok i've been modifying it for a long time and after going through all the php code i still can't figure out how to get rid of the thing on the default.php page (index.php on mine) that says "This is a demonstration online-shop, any products purchased will not be delivered nor billed. Any information seen on these products are to be treated fictional. If you wish to download this sample shop, or to contribute to this project, please visit the support site. This shop is based on osCommerce 2.2-CVS." How do you get rid of this stuff??? i've been searching and have found nothing so obviously i'm looking in the wrong place. Thanks in advance.
Misteraven Posted November 19, 2002 Posted November 19, 2002 try either /catalog/includes/languages/english.php or /catalog/includes/languages/english/default.php I forget which one, but it's there.
xaraya Posted November 19, 2002 Posted November 19, 2002 You need to edit the language file in catalog/includes/languages/english/default.php The best solution however I have found is Define Main Page v1.2 http://www.oscommerce.com/downloads.php/co...ions,340/type,3 Define Main Page allows you to edit defualt.php content directly through the admin interface. I've added it to Ian's November loaded snapshot. You can see the site under development here: http://illdesign.project3e.com/catalog/
