ssl padlock

I have a a new ssl certeficat, but im having some problems. The url show "https", but tere isnt padlock in the bar. Is my configure file ok? What could it be. Hope you understand my poor english.

If your site is loading into the https as it should then take a look at your images on the secure pages and/or your code for those images.


It could be that some images on the page arent loading from the secure area of your site. Be sure when coding the images to just put /images/ rather than http://www.mysite.com/images/ as the link so that the https loads properly.


Test the page in explorer, I believe an error box will come up if some elements of the page arent secure.

That problem doesn't have anything to do with images. It is usually caused by a non-secure link on the page. You should be getting messages saying that though if that is the case.

Yes it is the correct configure file but there are some hosting environments where you actually have to make a code change to get the padlock to display.


1and1hosting is one company that requires it and the patch is on the forum somewhere> If you search on SSL Padlock I think you will find it. I vaguely remember it is in application top.
