I have tried to search other posts for this problem but to no avail.

Basically I have started to enter the products into the database, i made a dummy sale to see the checkout process. Once I had made the sale my categories changed from mine to somebody elses manufacturers and links (example of first category link: http://www.xyramax.co.uk/catalog/default.php/cPath/28) although my whats new etc are still there.

This seems to be a worrying problem - can anybody help.

Also I'd just like to thank everybody for this support community I have found it an overly useful tool to getting up & running and making changes.

Did you install contributions?

If so which one(s)?

And do you have a link where we can check this?

Are you using the cache functionality??

This can happen when cache is enabled and stored in the default /tmp/ directory if someone else is using oscommerce with cache enabled also using the same /tmp/ folder.
