Problem with prices showing VAT - URGENT

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with my site.

When a customer logs in, adds something to the cart, goes through to checkout_shipping.php and then hits continue, all the prices change and are shown excluding VAT (prices in checkout_confirmation.php remain including VAT).

Until the customer logs off the prices carry on showing excluding VAT.

Can anybody help with this urgently please.

Did You chek Your configure. Is Display Price with Tax set to true this will cause products to be displayed with added tax.

Again once You are logged in depending on the zone You are the tax will be applicable.

Display prices is set to true.

There is only one shipping zone (UK) so only has one tax zone.

It works fine until you log in and then get to checkout_payment.php. Then everything starts to show excluding VAT. However if you commence on to checkout_confirmation.php the prices in this part show including VAT, but the prices in the columns for the shopping cart box and the bestsellers box show excluding vat!

Please see image below. The shopping cart and best seller boxes show excluding vat, but the centre of the site, checkout_confirmation.php is showing including VAT.

The moment You login Your billing address has a different area which is not mapped to the zone to which tax is applied.

You need to add area to that zone.

Might seem a silly thing but when you add the goods in the admin section are you telling OSC that the goods are taxable?

It could be showing you items ex vat because of this

Better to be looked over than overlooked!
