roberttran Posted November 17, 2002 Posted November 17, 2002 I have noticed that when ever someone creates an account, processes an order, or update and order status, it takes a really long time. Could this be a problem with the database? I also still have a problem with orders not showing up in the orders list. I do not think it has to do with a paypal thing, because I am still receiving some paypal orders. Could this be related to the database?

Guest Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 How easy would it be to index my databse thru phpMyAdmin? Indexing is a new concept to me. I'm still under development for my store, but once its up and going it should have 4000+ items. I don't want the database to be slugish then, or now. So should I index the database now? OR do it later? How would I go about doing this? Thank you!

roberttran Posted November 21, 2002 Author Posted November 21, 2002 I just put indexes in my database and they still seem slow. It is only slow when I create or change something
