Hi all, How is css applied to a php file, as an example how does it control the categories text?

stylesheet.css is applied to all the files by default. just look for the styles you want to change there

"I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings."

---Margaret Mead---

"The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.

Hi thanks for the reply, in the end I just went through the stylesheet.css and altered the text sizes to see what was affected. Once I had found which style affected which element on the page, I just made comments to remind me, because although the styles are aptly named having a style sheet with comments make it so much easier to design and alter the site.

The style I wanted to change was .boxtext this altered the size of the categories font so now my code looks like this:

.boxText { font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; } /* Changes the size of the font in the categories menu */

The font size was set to 10px but i think 11px looks better. I used topstyle to edit as this shows how each style would look.
