setting up payment modules

Does anyone who how to modify a payment module so that you can incorporate it with your processor. I have been able to get the paypal one to work but I also accept Visa/Mastercard by Sure Fire Commerce and can't seem to get it to work. I'm relatively new to php but have managed to make most of my modifications. Any help would be appreciated. :D

The best way to create a new payment module is to get the integration docs for the system you want to use, then look at the existing payment modules to find one that works in a similar way then modify that to work with your system.
