MVS, UPSXML

I installed my shopping cart. Then added the contributions of UPSXML followed by MVS. Uploaded everything, ran the MVS.sql.

Attempting to access the cart or admin now.

When trying to get into the admin section:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'mysql@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/httpd/vhosts/bonsaibirds.com/httpdocs/shop/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

When trying to get to the catalog part:

1146 - Table 'shop.TABLE_VENDOR_CONFIGURATION' doesn't exist

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from TABLE_VENDOR_CONFIGURATION

[TEP STOP]

Any and all advice, suggestions, etc. would be MOST appreciated!!

Kindly,

Andrea Fahy

Your first problem might just be from having accidentaly overwriting your admin/includes/configure.php , which is where your db login and pasword information is located.

Your second problem, might just be that the defines for the TABLE_VENDOR_CONFIGURATION is missing in includes/database_tables.php

After a couple of days of figuring it out, I also decided to ask my hosting company - they are really awesome. Here was the reply:

We could see that you have installed MSV.sql. Also the table 'vendors' was

created with one entry having vendors_id=1. But the tables where not entered

in one of the configuration table. We have made it correct now.

Please try to access your site and let us know if you require anything else.

lowesthosting.com has REALLY impressed me with their support and willingness to do a lot of things that they don't advertise.

Kindly,

Since I apparently did override the admin/includes/configure.php file, can you please help me figure out what/where I need to modify the code?

Maybe bold or turn the lines red that I need to change

define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost or - https://localhost should not be NULL for productive servers

define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', '');

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', '');

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); // secure webserver for catalog module

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs)

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/');

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN);

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/modules/');

define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/');

// define our database connection

define('DB_SERVER', '');

define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'mysql');

define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', '');

define('DB_DATABASE', 'osCommerce');

define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false');

define('STORE_SESSIONS', '');
