Guest Posted November 17, 2002 Posted November 17, 2002 I really hate to sound whiney, but I have been trying to get one of my osC shops listed in the live shops showcase for almost 2 months now .. 4 attempts (1 under a different username just in case). No listing .. and no response to an email inquiry as to why :? ://nonieofbeverlyhills.com/catalog There is nothing risque about this shop .. it is just natural skin care products.... Anybody that may have some insight as to why it won't be posted ? I love osC and promote, support it whenever/wherever I can .. and my client loves their new store :) -caz
Guest Posted November 17, 2002 Posted November 17, 2002 http://nonieofbeverlyhills.com/catalog Not sure what happened to the link in the post above.
Guest Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 Click on the button that says Showcases, then the Live Shops link and at the bottom of the page the Submit a Shop link.
mattice Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 And make sure you LOG IN again as the www site does not take the forum cookies.... "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
CC Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 There is no miracle behind it. Do as mentioned, but remember... Harald now has to authorise them being shown, so it wont show till he updates it. I think this was down to some ppl asking to have their sites removed from it due to abuse or fake orders! So beware before you do it. CC.
Guest Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 My post was evidently misunderstood .. 4 attempts means I have logged in here.. (http://www.oscommerce.com/shops.php/live/a...tion,submitshop)...and submittd my shop .. 4 times .. Not that I have been telepathically wishing my site would appear in the list. I understand Harald is very busy .. and takes a great deal of time to babysit this forum .. which we all appreciate very much .. I guess what it comes down to is does anybody have an idea why he would not approve a site ? -caz
Guest Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 In reading my post over again .. I do sound a bit needy/whiney...sorry  Harald and everybody else involved have made an incredible product and I am incredibly thankful that I found it. -caz
