PAYPAL IPN INSTALLATION

Hello,

 

I have installed Paypal IPN and disabled the normail Paypal ( i don't know if i had to, but i did)

 

Now, i just don't know how to configure paypal IPN.

 

I activated, and entered my email of paypal account etc...

 

But i'm lost afther this options. I don't know how to set them.

 

Set Preparing Order Status

Preparing [PayPal IPN]

 

Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status

default

 

Set PayPal Completed Order Status

default

 

Transaction Type

Per Item

 

Move tax to total amount

True

 

Page Style

 

 

Debug E-Mail Address

 

 

Enable Encrypted Web Payments

False

 

Your Private Key

 

 

Your Public Certificate

 

 

PayPals Public Certificate

Now, i also activated auto return to my site, afther payment, in my paypal account, and now also activated IPN and i entered URL (don't know if its the right choice here) wwww.mysite.com/includes/modules/payment/paypal_ipn.php

 

I realy don't understand this very well (sorry i'm new)

 

Can anyone help me, or tell me what to enter in these options, and also where i can find the info if needed?

i read the guide over and over, and still don't understand it.

 

They don't tell you anything about where to find private key, public key etc...

There's a 5 or 6 meg pdf manual available at the PayPal site. Log in to your account (assuming you already have one, if not, create one, it's free) then go to >profile > encrypted payment settings > learn more > manual. That will give you details on how to get your certs & keys. Keep in mind, it's different for shared certs and dedicated certs. You may have to call your host for some help. Also check out the support thread in the payment modules section...there's 140 pages worth of helpful advice! There's a lot of info here...you just have to dig!
