Replacing images on its own?

Recommended Posts

Take a look at http://www.hollywoodshandbags.com/. See underneath featured products there? There's an entire row of "Go" buttons that aren't supposed to be there. Heck, when you view the source, it says nothing about that particular image. The only pages I have edited so far are the privacy policy, terms, etc. Nothing else. Any ideas?

Also, any idea on how to get rid of that manufacturers search option over there?

The "Go" buttons are background images in a table.

An excerpt from the HTML source:

<table cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 width=489>
<tr><td colspan=3>
 <table cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0>
  <tr><td><img width=6 height=30 src=images/m13.gif></td>
  <td width=477 background=images/m15.gif><span style="padding-left: 13px"></span><span class=ch3><i>Featured Products</i></span></td>
  <td><img width=6 height=30 src=images/m14.gif></td></tr>
 </table>
</td></tr>
<tr><td height=9></td></tr>
<tr>

</tr>
<tr><td height=9></td></tr>
<tr><td colspan=3>
 <table cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 width=489>
  <tr><td colspan=2 background=images/m21.gif height=29><span style="padding-left: 18px"></span><span class=ch3></span></td></tr>
  <tr><td bgcolor=#F2F2F2 height=1></td></tr>
 </table>
</td></tr>
</table>

Now look at the browser address window.

It says m12.gif!!??!! NOT m21.gif!!!

Weird.

:blink:

Exactly...lol. And I can't figure out where that line of code is to delete it....

And on a side note... I found out where the code is for the search boxes and such on the right, but whenever I go to move them, it screws up my entire page... anyone feel like helping out a newbie with hardly any $$? lol.

This:

   <tr><td colspan=2 background=images/m21.gif height=29><span style="padding-left: 18px"></span><span class=ch3></span></td></tr>

Should be:

   <tr><td colspan=2  height=29><span style="padding-left: 18px"></span><span class=ch3></span></td></tr>

To remove the image.

Have you tried to re-upload m21.gif to your site?

I've never seen actions like this in a web page.

:huh:

I don't think m21.gif exists, and the server is doing some "auto replace" of it's own.

How did you get it to do that?

:unsure:
