osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Website says it's still Tuesday...but, it's Wednesday! How to fix?

Either it's something I need to fix or something my webhost needs to fix. I dunno! ???

I long ago got rid of the 'how many visitors' counter...but my site still has the date in the footer, which I do like.

How do I fix the date it's showing?

Presently, it's 12:30 am EST Wednesday August 15th here in NC...yet the footer shows as August 14th.

How do I correct that? Or...should I even care?

Think it takes date and time from where your server is?

Anyway, I personally don't see the value of it as if people want to know the date they generally have this info immediately to hand on the computer screen anyway.

If you are ok with the date - why should you care.

If you want to modify it to show your local machine time - you need to post the link or part of code that is generating date for you.

cheers,

Best Regards,
Gaurav
