We are getting two errors:

Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php.

Backup Directory: /osCommerce/catalog/admin/backups/

and

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: catalog/images/

Here's my admin configure.php

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.scrapbookgalaxy.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.scrapbookgalaxy.com'); //eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER','https://www.scrapbookgalaxy.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/usr/local/apache/htdocs'); // where the pages are located on the server

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/'); // absolute path required

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/osCommerce/catalog/admin/'); // absolute path required

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', 'catalog/'); // absolute path required

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', 'catalog/'); // absolute path required

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/modules/');

define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/');

The modules don't seem to be loading either.

You will need to place a blank file in admin with the name of backups. For some reason it is not included it your install.

Thanks for the response.

I have two .sql db backup files in the /backups folder. There seems to be some issues with the file structure in admin configure.php

for example,

I need to re-install the modules for payment, shipping, etc. the link for the install says ...com/admin/modules when it should go to /admin/includes/modules

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

no it is correct it in your configure.php. Make sure those directories or files are read and writeable.

When are you getting those errors?

When are you getting those errors?

The errors occur inside the admin interface. For the modules, I get this error

Module Directory: catalog/admin/includes/modules/payment/ - INSTALL (install does nothing - so the file structure is wrong)

This is the other error

Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php.

permissions for the /backups folder is set to 777 and the .sql files are set to 644

no that is incorrect....... the absolute path start at the root of your hosted site and ends with admin folder. If you ran the installer osc would have found the absolute path and it should not have been changed.

is this correct?

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/osCommerce/catalog/admin'); // absolute path required

It was changed because there was another error regarding queries. Do you happen to know what it should be?

no I don't. that path is unique only to your site starting with your hosts server and ending with admin

Look in includes/configure.php and find that absolute path to your catalog (define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', 'xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/www/catalog/'); )and add admin/ for your admin file but leaving your catalog configure.php file unchanged.
