Merchandise Received Area?

Good Day guys,

 

First time posting on the forums. They look nice :)

 

Ok, I personally like how oscom is going and I'm wondering if much thought has been given to it's applications as a complete product management solution. Currently (from what I can tell) when a new part is "received" you must create the part, or update the quantity on the part. I'm wondering if anyone has discussed the posibility adding in a "merchandise received" area to simplify product receipt and inventory update/control?

 

I've given a little thought as to how it can be done, however my quality of code is not quite up-to-par with what the oscom guys are doing.

 

BTW: Great job on the new checkout process. It's much nicer.
