trouble with configure.php

I cant figure out how to change the user permissions... any ideas?

You can log in to your site with your FTP program.

Click on the page or program you want to change permissions

then click on properties. There you can change it.

Log into your hosts control panel and use there file manager to set the permissions

Not thru file manager of admin.

 

either use FTP tool on some server they will not be of help in setting in that case go to control panel.

From there YOu can set filr permissions.

Im sorry.. I dont think i understood that fully.

Maybe if move the file to your computer you will be able to figure out how to change its permissions and then you can upload it back onto your host and hopefully the permissions will be correct (and was all that a run-on sentence? :blink: ).

when you say using a remote view, do you mean in dreamweaver of in godaddy.com's file manager.

looking at the files in remote view - right click the one you want to amend - the choices will show - go down to edit permissions
