Ok hope ye all frindly people here becouse am trying to wing this with out bringing anyone in and having to put me hand in me pocket. :lol:

I deleted all the demo stuff it provides you with but how do you get to

the part in wrighting were it says "this is a demo shop any purches will not be delivered

This will be my first of many post i think :oops:

Hi ..

 

the file that contains that information is in the /catalog/includes/languages/english/default.php if you are using other languages then you also need to change those default.php's

I've noticed a few people asking where to find certain lines that are in the osCommerce site. The way I do it which usually works for me on a windows machine is you can search the contents of files. So I go to Find, then type in the string of text I'm searching for like "this is a demo shop" in the "containing text" box and point it to the folder that holds all of my OSc files. It usually gives me the file or two and I know right where to go. I'm pretty sure you can do the same thing on a Unix/Linux box also. HTH
