Manual Order Entry optional email question

Hi everybody,


i have setup a 2nd 'customerservice' catalog, and installed the Manual Order Entry option for call center folks to enter orders over the phone. They are also going to use it to enter in order taken through the mail using cash, checks, money order,etc....


The issue i'm encountering if that a lot of these mail order customers do not have a valid email.


How can i make slight alterations to my currenty Manual Order Entry so that email is optional, and what major ramifications might this have on the entire oscommerce?


Is it as simple as removing the validation from the email field in the account creation pages?
