Shopping cart problem

Hello,

 

I am having some problems with the shopping cart can anybody help. When you click 'add to cart' it links to the shopping cart page but it says it is empty. However if you the click the shopping cart link in the top right it displays the products. The difference I see between the two is the hyperlink the incorrect one is

 

http://members.lycos.co.uk//myname//shopping_cart.php (When you add a product)

 

Correct one is

 

http://members.lycos.co.uk/myname//shopping_cart.php (When you ues the link in top right column)

 

The only difference is the extra forward slash after the domain name.

 

I am using version 2.1.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
