Define catalog images directory in configure.php (admin)

Hello, I upload my site to a server to test it, everything works great, but in the admin i have the next error

 

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: emi/catalog/images/

 

I have to setup this line..

 

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/');

 

the directory really exist, but i can't figure out why the site is not working properly...

 

Please help.
