reinstall help

Hello,

 

Silly question here, but I have the latest editon of OScom. and since switching servers the whole program is filled with errors. The host techs. suggest just reinstalling the program with the new data base name. My question is, if I reinstall the program will it delete all the special headers and footers and other settings or will it just update? Please help if you can.
