Forgive me, I am very new to osCommerce and these contributions

I am not sure what to think of these messages I found after installing the contribution.

You must have searched very long for the reason of this error ;)

See this post and the next for a solution.

Sorry, but I don't understand what to do, based on this message below

That file came with the standards osC ups.php module which is no longer there:

I put the ups.php in each languages/modules/shipping folder (into English, Spanish and German)

Now I receive this one error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ups in /home/httpd/vhosts/bonsaibirds.com/httpdocs/shop/includes/modules/shipping/ups.php on line 0

Kindly,

Andrea Fahy

I get the feeling we will see many, many more posts from you....

The code I posted is the contents of the language file. Since osC is language independent many pages have an equivalent language file wherein the defines (THAT_ARE_THE_PIECES_IN_CAPITALS) are... well defined. The error you got tells you (if you would know something about PHP, which is really nice to know when you are fooling around with osC) that this file: /home/httpd/vhosts/bonsaibirds.com/httpdocs/shop/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/ups.php cannot be found.

The code I posted should be pasted in a new empty file (using a text editor, not Word), named ups.php and ftp-ed to that location on your server.

I am terribly sorry if that is inconvenient for anyone. I currently have developed a site on my own over the last few years w/o anything like this, using Dreamweaver (and no I do not rely on design mode, I do understand HTML) and I have been trying to learn PHP and the likes as I am also programming a new forum for my site. I tend to prefer figuring things out on my own, but I cannot afford the many hours of doing so if there is a supportive forum that can direct me to helpful information, as we are trying to pull profits quickly via a site redesign. I just hope that comment was not directed in a derogatory manner.

Thank you for the additional information anyway.

Kindly,

Andrea Fahy

Hope I wasn't too crass in my last reply to you, I am just getting flustered in several international projects right now :)

This did the trick and now I understand much more than I did just a little while ago. Thank you kindly for your time and assistance.

And yes, you may be seeing more of me around as I learn more of osCommerce!

Kindly,

Andrea Fahy
