songsak Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 I was working with a custom shopping system that allowed users to add items to a cart then when all the information was submitted, it would post the information on a webpage/text file in a secure area for manually processing the credit cards with a former host. Is this type of setup possible with oscommerce? So instead of processing the credit card information with a merchant it would post the order in a file. I need to find the quickest way to get the shopping cart active again(the old host went bankrupt), if you have a different suggestion I am completely open to your ideas. Thanks...
gdfwilliams Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 Sure!! Just go to Admin>Modules>Payment and deactivate everything but the Credit Card option. Orders are then saved in the Admin section for you to review, download, etc. Good luck! - GDW
deker Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 Yes, that is the default way to process orders in OSC. You can login to your admin panel and view the order along with the credit card info. Or you can set it up to work with a processing gateway like 2checkout.com or paypal.com.
