osCommerce Databases - OLD to NEW

Hi ALL,

 

Would like some help or clarity.

 

I would like to do a new install of a later snapshot of OsCommerce 2.2

 

This has extra database fields over the previous Snapshot.

 

I would like to "clear" the new database of ALL product info etc. but keep the database structure.

 

I would then like to IMPORT the OLD data into the new database.

 

I have tried before but I keep getting errors such as duplicate errors, fields don't match.

 

Can anyone help or guide me through this
