Making PRODUCT LISTINGS a little easier

Just a suggestion....

As it stands, clicking on category gives a PRODUCT LIST with column details for example:

Product Name, Code, Weight, picture, buy now button, and price.

Some of these can be turned on or off in the Admin Product List panel.

 

Is it not possible to extend the admin panel so that the list headings can be varied. For example, to exclude weight or picture and to add other headings and columns such as Size, Colour, Shape, etc., according to the shopowners requirement.

 

I have had many many problems attempting to change these manually.

I have just given up and have just relabelled the word 'weight' to get by.

 

Is there an easy solution out there or is it possible to add it to Oscommerce at any time.
