Guest Posted November 11, 2002 Posted November 11, 2002 If I was good as teh rest of you coding in PHP and MySql I would help but my knowledge is not that far yet. Sugestion: When running specials can I just choose a catagory like christmas instead of having to choose each individual christmas item? Sugestion Comment question: When uploading products the Images are saved in the image directory. Well if I get all 3000+ products uploaded I get a lot of images in one directory. When creating a catalog for lets say Holidays > Christmas now i hve a christmas area with my product when I upload those images they are all saved to the directory images. Can we get more detailed and have it make a folder like this images/holidays/christmas/ images for that catalog go there then? Also if I delete an item does the image get deleated as well? Why are the images uploaded to a directory instead of to the database as a blob type? I know alot of questions but the help would be appreciated. P.S. Has anyone fixed the newsletter problem? Not sending HTM newsletters? P.S.S. I am curently running V 2.2 and love it....When the next version comes out I have added some modifications. Will I have to start from scratch or what is going to happen. Mods that I used were the spider fix and the header tags for search engines. Anyone know? Thanks all. www.abitofthings.com

That would mean you'd have to apply one discount to ALL the products where as in the current (not perfect, I agree) setup you can have different discounts for seperate products. Would be nice to do an AND, both single prod and designated 'specials' category. When uploading products the Images are saved in the image directory. Guest Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 Nope I have the luxuary of having a supplier that takes all the photos for me...I jsut need to upload them...I still haev 3000 Items to upload. Not to fond of my banner or color but will leave it that way till christmas is over. Pass the website along....Word of mouth and mass emails are a great way to get business :lol:
