Products Dissapearing... HELP!!

Hi,

I've just put the 29/10/2002 snapshot to work, and imported the old data I had from before, and it al went smoothly, UNTIL... I wanted to go into the admin and update an item, so I did.

But as soon as I press preview the preview shows nothing ! I don't mean it shows an error, and I don't mean a blank page, all the OSC background info is still there, but in the product preview pane, nothing is showing!

If I press CANCEL, it's ok, but if I press BACK, the script jumps back to the product listing, and clears DB entry for this item, but it does not delete the entire record!

I'm confused!

I'm running Redhat 7.3, php 4.02, MySQL 3.32 and didn't have problems with my prev. install of OSC, just this snapshot!!! Has anyone any ideas?

PLease!

Cheers

And I also get this when adding a product!!!

Which I hadn't tried!

Warning: Variable passed to reset() is not an array or object in /var/www/html/osc/admin/includes/classes/object_info.php on line 17

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /var/www/html/osc/admin/includes/classes/object_info.php on line 18

Can anyone help?

Check your products_id in the database. If that got mixed up funny things will happen. I've experienced similar probs once when I manually created a higher product ID number and used a backup at a later time. Might be it.

Howdy Folks

I just witnessed a similar problem.

While updating inventory numbers using the Admin, I saw what Craig saw...unfortunately, I clicked back and lost the next product. Then I tried updating another product and lost two more!

What the hell is going on!

I have been using OSC for over a year and have never seen anything like this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Best Regards, Ted
