CGI Error -- Can't get admin interface going -- HELP!!!

i recently installed OSCommerce on my win2k box running iis 5.0. am getting cgi errors and i am wondering if oscommerce is compatible with IIS servers.

 

this is the error i am getting when trying to access admin pages:

 

CGI Error

The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Good luck, I have the same error. From doing a search so far the biggest fix people have for our problem is "IIS sux don't use it"

 

Well IIS doesn't suck, it's PHP on IIS that sucks.

 

Check to make sure your running PHP as an ISAPI process. I am, and I still get the error though. :angry:

Just an update:

 

I converted over to using ISAPI and this fixed the problem.

 

Do the following: Don't use the installer for PHP, install manually and follow the instructions here:

 

http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.iis.php

 

IIS Rawks! ASP is the best. osCommerce Rocks but uses PHP :( :cry: oh well. ;)
