Merlion-City Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Hello ...... Can someone guide me through a simple step by step way on how to disable right click images on all my catalog product image and logo? Please be gentle with me as l am still in learning stage of this Os site. l do not want "watermark" as l think it is hard to do it and l'm honestly afraid to mess up. At first, l dont even think of having this Disable Right Click until l found a website that looks exactly like mine and was pretty upset wit it and everything that was written in theirs are all the same as mine  Since then l have delete all my product image online at this moment until l found a solution and also will change my Logo images. Since l am pretty slow and abit dumb to understand - can anyone guide me how to from what file should l start 1st from file to file etc. step one, step two, step three ..... Just a guidance to Disable Right Click only Please anyone out there??? l'm truly desperate Help me pleaaasssseeee
Ausgirl Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Disabling right click does not stop one from stealing images if you know what your doing anyway you can try one of these
germ Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Ruth is right, disabling <right-click> won't stop image stealing (only by people who don't know how to do it in the first place). You might read thru this post. A watermark is a much better way - making the image undesirable for theft. IMHO, anyway... If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
