biohazardbill Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I found what I am looking for on a site created using oscommerce. When you click on a category it goes to the following... http://www.site.com/index.php/category/subcategory/cPath/42 and every other category goes to the appropriate page using dofferent parameters... Any help appreciated
Guest Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 you're probably refering to the stock osc SEF. there is a switch from the admin but would be better if you check the contributions as there are many SEO alternatives that generate meaningful links.

Ausgirl Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 SEO is search engine optimisation: Process of improving the ranking of a website. Process will generally involve focusing content upon the web site, link building process and ensuring the website coding validates. SEF is Search Engine Friendly Url's: This means that Internet Search Engines like Google, Altavista and many others can more easily search through your whole site. This, in its turn, means that you and your content will be much easier to find by anyone searching for it on the Net!
