Product Description Spacing

How do you LIST items in the product description field? When writing my product descriptions I have been listing items like this:

Example 2

Example 3

 

But when I upload the items they look like this:

 

Example 1 Example 2 Example 3

 

Is there a key to listing items in the product description?
