How to increase the level of Categories or Category Tree

Hi,

I was wondering is there a way to increase the Level of Categories or add to the Category tree? For example on the default install of oscommerce we have Hardware-->Mice-->Then all mice are shown. How would I set it up so hardware & software appear under a higher category of say Computers & IT?

All you need to do is make your FIRST category "Computers & IT". Then when you go into it add a new category called say "Hardware", then go into that & add a new category, say "hard drives".

 

So you've basically done it, but you should have started with Computers & IT.

 

Make sense?
