Guest Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 Hi. I have a new account at lunarpages that will house our current site, clasenhome.com, when it is redeveloped in about 2 months. Part of the redevelopment is the addition of the osCommerce shopping cart. We do not want to take the site down or re-point until it's ready. So I use a temporary URL (a lunarpages server address) to work online. osCommerce installed but wouldn't work when I installed using the domain "clasenhome.com" during set up. So lunarpages set me up with a subdomain clasenhome.myownsiteonline.com. Although I was able to get to cart admin after that, nothing within admin worked (I got 'not found' errors). So I uninstalled osCommerce and I'm going to reinstall now, I guess. What should I do? Use the subdomain URL for the install? Will that give me headaches when I am ready to move everything to the parent domain? Re-pointing right now is not really an option although it would solve all the problems.
