finkelsteinj Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Hello All! I setup a shared certificate from my hosting company and the https is working but I don't get the confirmation of it being secure by the pad lock in the right corner does anyone have any sugestions when working with a shared certificate? Is this even secure or should I look at using a dedicated certificate? Web address is https://ssl.perfora.net/s91395532.onlinehome.us Thanks for everyone's help! Jason
d4funky1 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 ok, i'm seeing a padlock in my browser (IE7) but i am receiving the 'This web site contains both secure and non secure items' Ensure that you have put all your images and relevant files into your secure folder. Drop a reply once you have done this and we'll see from there.
d4funky1 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 also, drop the oscommerce banner in the footer - as this will point to a non secure http page.
finkelsteinj Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 There seems to be a problem with the HTTPS after a new account is created. Once you create an account and go to enter your Credit Card information it is not on the Https link.
