None Of The Shipping Modules Working

Im getting close to the stage of finishing my site, and have just got around to implementing a shipping module.

 

I havenow realsed that no shipping modules seem to be working, I have gone through them all in admin/modules and enabled each one individually, but a shipping method or charge is never applied to a customers order;

 

When the user gets the "Delivery Information" page, it has their delivery address, and "add coments to your order", but NOTHING at all relating to shipping.

 

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

chek that zones in shipping are set to none.

 

Also make sure that in order total modules there is no free shipping.

I have checked the your suggestions, but am unsure what you mean by "chek that zones in shipping are set to none". The only shipping module I have installed is called Surface Mail. It does have a setting called Enable Zones Method, which is currently set to True. I have changed this to false as a test but it did not fix the issue.

 

I have also tried uninstalling the module, and using the Flat Rate, Table Rate, and Per Item methods one by one, but the problem still exists.

 

As a side note, I notice that in Configuration/My Sotre, my store zone is displaying as Florida, which I cannot change....the drop down box does not contain any zones. I dont know if this is the cause of my problems, as I know my zone has always been Florida even when shipping was working.

In the osCommerce download you will see a folder called "extras", in there you will find a great tutorial on how to set up tax zones which you will need to do for shipping. I think you are just missing a step somewhere.
