Where Should I Advertise My Website?

kleines

Recommended Posts

Hello, my website is finally up and running. I have been advertising with google but it is so expansive that even when I make $1500 a month, I end up spending $800-900 in advertising, minus my expenses, my profits come out to nothing.

Did anyone try any other websites like www.needhits.net?? I need to know if there's a cheaper way to advertise my website, but still get hits.

Thank You!

Rather than look for other ways to advertise (and trust me, nobody comes close to Google in traffic generation) you should look at adjusting your Google Adwords campaigns. Read up on the net about creating effective PPC campaigns. Try and do an A/B test with different campaigns in Google (using different copy for your ads). Adjust the amount you're willing to pay (you don't need to have high bids, go for lower bids and let Google move you up the page when the higher bids reach their daily maximums). Track your conversion rate for keywords and make adjustments (add, remove, or adjust bid) accordingly. You're generating sales, so your business model is good. You just need to figure out how to lower your overall advertising expenses. With PPC always start low and slowly edge your way up (low click bids and daily budgets).
