Product Attribute Sort Order

Is there a simple hack that will change the product attribute sort order for products

example here

any of these memberships for sale need to have the opposite order for the drop down boxes :x

i put them in in the correct order. it just decided to sort inverse alphabetically from what i can tell

any help would be appreciated.

 

and yes i know the membership graphics suck, i havent done the new ones yet :P

its easy to find if you search on the right thing.

i didnt find it when i was looking under atributes for posts and mods.

life is easy when you know what your doing.

do you know anything about the option id/option name dropdown box on the product atributes page. it doesnt seem to do anything (at least on the screen) that i can see?

thats not what im looking for at all.

those are great if you want to sort the products, or have the customer input the details for a custom product.

 

they dont deal with the problem that i have, the order of the product option atributes, not the product order.

 

i want to be able to set the order that the product option atributes are listed in, starting with the default (as standard) option, and then have the rest in the order that i want, not sorted alphabetically as seems to happen.

 

thanks anyway, but if you know a way to do what i want, dont be shy, shout up and let me (and others) know about it.

Sort Option Values Module 1.0

 

This module enables you to manage the sort order of the product option values.

 

Simply set the sort order for the option values in admin. Every product with attributes will reflect the sort order in the option values dropdown box on the product page.

yayyayyayyay.

 

got it all sorted out now

i installed this contrib first (new attribute manager)

but it didnt do what i wanted, but it did make it a lot easier to manage things once the attributes had been entered in the normal way

 

then i had a crack at this one (it takes a while to do all the edits) (attribute sets plus v1.2)

and all has now started to work the way that i want.

 

 

 

the sort options module only seems to sort the values, not arrange them in different orders for different products.
