Hi all

I have installed osCommerce in 2 places, 1 local, 2 on a webserver, because i find it easyer to edit it localy.

I have edited a verson of osCommerce ready to install on the web server, i then copyed it to the server, i renamed the configure.php so that it would not over wright it and not let me access the database.

I am now getting this error ::

Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/5/e/7/1456/1456/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 17

Unable to connect to database server!

Please help!!!

Sorted it. i didnt realist that the configer.php was in the Admin folder as well.

If it was working before the upload, then the configure file has been changed. Be sure there is not one in the includes/local/ directory.
