Images Not Loading

Sorry, I know that this is probably a redundant question but I can't seem to find anything that has worked for me yet.

 

My problem is when I am uploading a picture from "My Pictures" folder on my hard drive, I end up receiving this error message at the top of the screen:

 

Error: Destination not writeable.

Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home/grevicci/public_html/images/

 

As one views my webpage at http://www.greviccisgifts.com , there is no picture along with a little red X. I had pictures once before but am wondering if I did a dumb thing and deleted something that I shouldn't have.

 

Can anyone help me with what I could have done and/or what these error messages mean?
