newbie27
I installed osCommerce from my host's control panel using: choose location admin info and install The location selected was http://yourdomain.com/osCommerce. I entered a Admin user name and Admin password. After I clicked install, osCommerce was installed along with the database on my host's server. The catalog is now at http://yourdomain.com/osCommerce/catalog. Can I copy the catalog folder and paste it at http://yourdomain.com/catalog without having to make any other changes to the code or database information? The setup gave me the following code: Paste the following code in your html if you want to present the store in a popup window: <a href="http://yourdomain.com/osCommerce/catalog/index.php" target="_blank">Visit our shop!</a> I'm unsure if there will be other areas that will need to be modified. Guest
No, you cant just move the files to another folder. You should of just installed it in the folder you wanted it in. You can go to the config.php and change the instal path.
