dskl
Hi All, I recieved this from Discover on April 27, 2007: Important Changes to Your Merchant Operating Regulations and Related Documents • Noncompliance Fees - Misuse of Acceptance Marks - New termination terms and noncompliance Fees may apply if you misuse the Discover Network Acceptance Marks and/or the other acceptance marks described in the Operating Regulations. You must display the Discover Network Acceptance Mark in payment drop-down boxes on your website, if any. While you may accept Cards with the split Discover/NOVUS Acceptance Mark, you may not display this mark. I've tried a couple of different methods to do this, but all I get is the HTML link source code added after the CC name in the dropdown list. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave
dynamoeffects
You can tell that the above rule was written by some middle manager with no knowledge of anything technical. To include an image within the dropdown, you'll have to create a CSS/Javascript widget to replace your dropdown. Of course, if someone has a javascript disabled browser, your checkout will not function. I'd suggest writing Discover and explaining how their new requirement is infeasible because it requires cobbling together widgets simply to display their mark. Perhaps you can get someone to escalate it up to someone who has a clue. Quote Please use the forums for support! I am happy to help you here, but I am unable to offer free technical support over instant messenger or e-mail.
Guest
even better ask them to cover the expenses for the work you would have to do.
