Sigmond Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 Hello, I am a relative newbie to OSC and am embarking upon a project to create a gifts affiliate store. By this I mean promoting products on behalf of another retailer... As far as I can see there are no templates already created for this type of requirement. Is this the case? The development will need 'stripping' off a lot of the OSC features to a bare bones shop which allows you to search and display products and then create a buy now button which URL links onto a retailer website. There will also need to be an easy utility to allow for the import of product feeds... Dependent on the feedback, if there is a hungry appetitie for the template, I'll code the store with more comments and 'neatness' if this is not required then I can do a quick 'bodge' job for myself. i was really surprised that this hasnt been done already...
