Lakers818 Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Hi, like most assosiated w/ oscommerce I too have a store online. Problem is that my web page takes about a minute to load on 56 k. Reason being I have 9 JPG"s of the products ( 9 products ). so the front page is nearly 600 kb.. The reason why i use the large version of the image over the small is because when a customer clicks on the product, he or she may click to enlarge the image.. therforre i have to use the large image.. and leave the small out , or else there would be no point. If i upload the small image, yes my site woud load faster, but the enlarge product image would be no good. So im not sure what to do here.. does OS commerce let us upload the small image AND the large images? being gif and jpg? jpg for " enlarge image" and gif for the front page, etc.. ? any scripts out there to jazz up os commerce and enable this for me?
