Admin Menu Displaying Variable Names

Hi Everyone,

 

I am a newbie to OSC, but not to Apache, FreeBSD, html, et. al. I have seen some very old posts on my problem but nothing specific as to an answer. If I have overlooked something please forgive me. I need your help.

 

I set up a demo OSC system on a server that I own and all was perfectly well. I have now moved all of that to the customers' live server and almost all is well, but for one thing. The Admin menu which worked just fine on my server now very strangely displays variable names in the left column. Like this:

Notice how only some of the items are screwed up? I did a fresh install to this live server and that's all working well, but I have done a lot of mods to the one I moved from the demo server and I need to avoid redoing all of this if I can. I really have spent time trying to figure this out and searching the forums. What am I missing?
