Archiving Shipped Orders

Silverado05

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Here is what I am looking for and was curious if anyone has heard of it, and if so could direct me to it cause I can't seem to find it. In the Admin control panel under Customers you know their is the orders option that shows you orders that have been made and gives you the option to edit, delete (invoice, packing slip button with contribution) etc. Well I would like for this page just to show new orders, or pending orders. Once they have shipped I would like to Archive them to where I can look them up if I need to later and keep the Orders page clean just for new and pending orders. I hope this makes sense. If anyone knows of anything that could do this or an easy way to handle shipped and settled orders

-Thanks

There is a dropdown available on the orders page (right top) to view orders by status. It wouldn't be very hard to load the initial page with for example status=1 (Pending by default).

Yes I know about that, but it only shows 10 orders at a time on the page and by default it shows all orders even when you sort the stauts and you go to the next page it defaults back to all orders. I would like to just have new orders on the page and archive the rest. That why when I login and I go to the orders page and I see for example 3 pages I know I have 3 pages of new orders instead of logging in seeing 100's of pages cause that doesn't really tell you how many new orders you have at a quick glance. I have installed a status monitor for the orders which gives a visual image next to each order the status, but it would just be nice to archive these and just have the new and orders waiting to ship on the orders page so you know just how many you have. If this is possible or know of any way to do this let me know, that would be great.
