I have my site setup using 2checkout to handle CC payments. But when
someone pays with credit card the order doesnt register with my site. I've
tested a few things and nothing work,

I know it's someone with 2checkout because when i place an order using
Check/Money order it does register with the site...

When people select Payment via 2checkout the money does go through into my
account but as i said the order doesnt register with the site/admin control
panel..

No i posted this is the forums and got a reply from Simba, She/he told me
to upgrade my 2checkout thats installed in Oscommerce, So i did,

So i get a cookies problem

I tried IE and Firefox,, also 3 different PC's changing the security on
them all. Nothing would let me pass this,

So i turned it off and i could log in again,,

But this might effect the final stage of the purchase , in 2checkout,
after you enter all your info you get a button saying "click here to
finalize" of something like that... If the cookies are not on then
would that affect this part? but if i have them on i cant even place an
order

Hello David,

Thank you for contacting 2Checkout.com. I am sorry for any inconvenience.
If your orders are not being recorded in OSC after a sale is placed it
could simply be because the customer is not clicking the button
"Click here to Finalize Your Order" on the order confirmation
page. If this is not clicked then your cart will never receive the
parameters that we submit to your approved URL. I recommend that you
enter your 2Checkout account and access your Look and Feel settings. Then
turn Direct Return to YES so customers are automatically sent to your
Approved URL.

Cookies will not effect the approved URL and the redirection to your
approved URL after a sale. If you are getting this cookie error from the
cart system you will need to contact the support team for the cart system
for assistance resolving this error.

I hope that I have addressed all of your concerns, but please feel free to
reply to this ticket if you require further assistance.

Thank you,
Joel

hello,

I've tested this myself using my own Credit card, Placing a real order. I
do click the "Click here to Finalize Your Order" ,, But i did change the
setting to YES and it still doesnt register the order.

I will contact Osc about the Cookies.

Hello David,

Thank you for contacting 2Checkout.com. I am sorry for any inconvenience.
If you are returned to your approved URL after a sale and your cart is not
recording the sale then you will need to speak with the cart support team.
This is an issue with the cart system not recording the parameters that are
submitted back to your cart on the approved URL and lies directly in the
cart. Be sure you have correctly installed the 2Checkout module created
by the OSC community and are using the approved URL that was provided with
that module.

I hope that I have addressed all of your concerns, but please feel free to
reply to this ticket if you require further assistance.

Thank you,
Joel

i just read this from the install file

KNOWN ISSUES:
1. 'Force Cookie Use' required. Sites using a shared-SSL cert will not work.
Most problems with the contrib are due to cookies not being set up properly.
I do not know of any workaround for this.

so i guess it cant be fixed !!
