Easy Populate Help Needed

I've installed Easy Populate about a week ago and after reading every related topic on the forum I am at a complete stop and contemplating adding the products one at a time. Here's what I have attempted so far...

• created a temp directory in the root of the catalog
  
• set permissions to the temp and images directory to 777
  
• entered the full path of the temp directory in the easypopulate.php file
  
• put EOREOR in the last column of each item
  

Problem is that it does nothing when I try to import the products in the db, no error message nothing. I've tried uploading 100 products, 10 products and even just one product. Nothing happens and no new products appear in my store.

 

I've tried creating the txt files, downloading the txt files and again nothing happens. I'm not exactly a PHP expert but no dummy either and I can't think of any instruction or suggestion that I haven't followed to the letter.

 

Where do I turn next?

Okay maybe I'm gaining...

 

Using a different version of easypopulate.php i am able to

 

 

Create Model/Price/Qty .csv file in temp dir

Create Model/Category .csv file in temp dir

Create Froogle .csv file in temp dir

Create Model/Attributes .csv file in temp dir and download all the above BUT i am unable to

 

Create Complete .csv file in temp dir which is the file layout i am to mimic correct? When I try to do this AT LEAST I now get an error message...

 

1054 - Unknown column 'p.products_family' in 'field list' Do I need to add a field called p.products_family (or v_products_family)?
