Syntex Error All Of A Sudden?

I've been running OsC just fine for a year or so. Today I went to change my index page "intro" and I got a syntex error. When I went back and upload my backup, but I'm still getting the same error.

 

Here's the error - Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/hbrzizx/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13

 

And here is the code from my index file (yes, in the includes/languages/english) -

First off do you really want the < before Welcome?

The problem is in the sentence and it's ready to go!

Should be
