DepecheNYC Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 I see that there are enough information out there to install osCommerce to run on a remote host but I don't find enough information to run it on a local host or workstation. Can someone please explain what needs to be configured and changed specifically to MySQL, PHP and/or Apache/IIS before installing osCommerce?

You should have Register Globals on as well as Register Long Arrays and that should take care of it for a stock osC. Then it's run the installer as usual. Sometimes, I get "page cannot be found" error.

Maybe give XAMPP a try if you haven't http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html Iggy Everything's funny but nothing's a joke...
